God Moved at Jackalope, And This Is Just the Beginning!

Last weekend at Jackalope Festival was unforgettable. From the moment I landed, it was clear God had something powerful in store.

The first night I stayed with Beaver Fleming and his wife, and right away we hit the ground running, connecting with riders, spreading the word about our 10 a.m. chapel. On Friday, ministry began almost instantly when a skater named Chris broke his leg. It was a bad break, bone sticking out and all! He was panicked, but as I prayed over him in the middle of the course, the peace of God overwhelmed him. People watched and witnessed the peace that transcends all human understanding.

Saturday morning was rained out, but we still held a small prayer gathering. Then Sunday hit, and it was amazing. We held a full church service right at the heart of the festival. As riders gathered as our voices, with the help of a microphone, our voices carried across the whole venue! Beaver and I shared about the goodness of God, prayed for people, and even the event organizer, Micah, came by. He was deeply moved and officially invited us to run chapels at every Jackalope event for the rest of the year!

Later, I had lunch with Micky Papa and Jake Ilardi, shared my faith, and prayed with them. God must have been listening because Micky took second place, and Jake got first! Just before finals, Jake grabbed my hand and said, “God’s got this.” Moments like that are what chaplaincy is all about.

We’re seeing real fruit. Hearts are being reached, and favor is growing.

If you believe in what’s happening and want to see more chapels at skate events across the world, consider supporting this chaplaincy mission. Your gift helps us show up, speak life, and be there when it matters most.

Thank you for being part of the movement.
