Christian Surfers and Christian Skaters are starting fires in South Africa. JSAW is lending a hand
by giving an
action sports ministry grant to help fund the effort. Each year CS puts on a roadshow traveling to several cities along the East coast of South Africa connecting with churches, hosting surf and skate camps, doing outreach and openly proclaiming the gospel to the youth. The roadshow also facilitates CS chapter growth in each city, ensuring that the fires started in the hearts of the youth continue to grow long after the event is over.
One of CS South Africa’s leaders Janine shared, “The roadshow is called The Fire Starter Roadshow because Jesus was the ultimate fire starter of our Christian walk and faith… and wherever we go in our daily life, we are to be little fire starters for Jesus!” Romans 12:11 says, “Never let the fire in your heart go out. Keep it alive. Serve the Lord” (NIV). JSAW is excited to partner with CS South Africa by giving an action sports ministry grant to help fund this years
