2025 Wake Season Recap

What a great summer we had on the water! From May through September, we had the incredible opportunity to spend over 350 hours on boats, pouring into the lives of riders, building connections, and making unforgettable memories. It was a season overflowing with fun, faith, and, of course, a lot of wakeboarding!

At three weekly Bible study locations, Lotus Lake, Lake Minnetonka, and Fish Lake, we saw over 80 riders participate. These evenings on the water were about more than wakeboarding and wakesurfing; they were opportunities for growth. Riders connected with each other, dove deeper into their faith, and experienced the beauty of God’s creation in powerful new ways.

Our wake camps drew 164 riders throughout the summer, a record-setting turnout! Each day brought new challenges and big wins as kids of all skill levels, from first-time riders learning to stand up, to advanced wakeboarders pushing their limits, encouraged one another and celebrated each step forward.

This summer wasn’t just about riding. It was about creating community where young people could feel accepted, loved, and empowered. One of the most powerful highlights was seeing seven riders take the step of baptism, an unforgettable testimony of how God is moving through this ministry. Moments like these remind us that wakeboarding is just the starting point for deeper transformation.

While we were sad to pull the boat out of the water last week, we are beyond grateful for everyone who made this summer possible, our incredible donors, volunteers, families, and most importantly, the riders who showed up, gave their all, and grew together in community.
