Night of Action Report
JSAW held its annual fundraiser and silent auction Sunday night and it was an incredible evening. Tim Foreman, JSAW’s guest speaker, inspired the 130 some guests in the Hyland Hills Chalet. He spoke about how we all focus on the big moments in life, but how the ‘space between the notes’ is most important. Tim shared how his own life was transformed when someone lovingly invested time into his life. That investment of time and love into the space between the notes led him to Jesus, just like we do at JSAW. On a trip to South Africa a few years ago while filming for Fading West, Tim recalled his own fears while big wave surfing. He was challenged out in the ocean to get out of the safety of the channel and get into the waves. To take action. To take a risk. Everyone in the room felt the challenge to take action through giving at the Night of Action. We were able to raise $21,000 for JSAW! Thank you to all our donors, sponsors and volunteers who helped make this event happen.
JSAW’s Executive Director, Jonny, explained the process of making disciples as well as a few key stats about the ministry accomplishments so far this year. One of the riders shared his story demonstrating how JSAW changed the game for him. Take a look at this video and if you are interested in giving, please visit jsaw.org/donate.
